Our Project Team bring your special requirements into our R&D Design Team & liaise between all parties to ensure correct specification & satisfaction. Our Engineering Teams are based at our factory at Wythenshawe, near Manchester where a lot of our products are designed & built.
We welcome customers to our factory and encourage visits, whether you just want to take a look or if you need to sign off on the final designs. We’ll always make you feel welcome.
You’ve spoken about where Electrium can work. What projects have we worked on that might surprise people to hear?
One project which might raise some surprised eyebrows is our work with London Underground.
LUL as was (now TFL) have been a long standing customer for the Crabtree brand of Electrium. On a recent project we were asked to provide circuit protection and wiring accessories for ticket halls in the station and other parts of the project as part of a £700 million transformation.
The solution needed to be pleasing on the eye but flexible enough that it ensured that the station remained open whilst work was carried out.
We believe we achieved this with our solutions from Crabtree. Our metal plate wiring accessories are aesthetically pleasing to match the décor of the new surroundings but its exceptional durability meant it could stand 365 days a year continuous use where failures were not an option.
We’ve also worked with a five star intercontinental hotel in London, near the 02, providing specially designed USB charging modules, US compatible 110V power sockets and robust and durable floor boxed.
We delivered a variety of charging solutions to meet the needs of their guests and metal plate accessories that complemented the interior design of the hotel.
Finally Tony, why should customers choose to work with Electrium for their next project?
