Electrium’s journey towards Net-zero

For more than a year our manufacturing and distribution centre in Hindley Green, Wigan, has a newly installed biomass heating system.

Using woodchips for heating instead of natural gas, the woodchips are from a sustainable UK source and provide more than 90% of the annual heat required.

As we consider more natural growing resources, we become more climate neutral.

Total savings are around 700t CO2 per year.
